Bio

After growing up in Phoenix, Arizona, Larisa Christine moved to Oklahoma to pursue a Bachelor’s degree and enjoy some cooler weather. From a young age, she was always creating, drawing, painting and collecting art supplies. Over the years, her mediums have changed yet her love of portraiture has remained.

In May 2018, Larisa graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts.  For her Senior Capstone Exhibition, Larisa created graphite portraits of influential women from television shows and movies, with the hope to empower others and focus on the necessity of gender equality.  This body of work inspired her continued and current work that focuses on strong, historic women.

In her spare time, Larisa enjoys ceramics, jewelry, screen printing, sculpting, painting and commission projects.  Today, she lives and works in Tucson, Arizona.
